Parent Visa SC 103(Permanent visa)
The Parent Visa enables parents of children who are Australian citizens or permanent residents to be sponsored for permanent residence in Australia. There are different category visas that will allow you to bring your parents to Australia permanently.
To Be Eligible:
- have an eligible sponsor child who is a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen
- meet balance of the family test
- be able to obtain an assurance of support.
- meet the health requirement
- meet the character test
- meet all applicable visa conditions and follow Australian law
- not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa
- Can apply from in or outside of the Australia
If Granted, Applicant Can
- stay in Australia indefinitely
- work and study in Australia
- enrol in Medicare- Australia’s public health care scheme
- include family member in your application
- sponsor your family members to come to Australia
- apply for Australian Citizenship if eligible
Contributory Parent Visa (SC 143)
Contributory parent visa SC143 is enables parents to come and stay with their child in Australia. The visa provides parents many options where they can live, study and work in Australia permanently.
To be eligible for this visa, the applicant must
- have an eligible sponsor child who is a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen
- meet balance of the family test
- be able to obtain an assurance of support.
- meet the health requirement
- meet the character test
- meet all applicable visa conditions and follow Australian law
- not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa
- Can apply from in or outside of the Australia
If granted, the applicant can

The Contributory Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 173) is a temporary visa that allows the parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand Resident stay permanently in Australia. You can be in or outside Australia when you apply for this visa.

The Contributory Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 173) is a temporary visa that allows the parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand Resident stay permanently in Australia. You can be in or outside Australia when you apply for this visa.

Aged Parent Visa SC 804
The Australian Aged Parent visa allows older parents who are already on temporary visas to live in Australia permanently if their child is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen who is settled in Australia.
